Post-Publication Discussion and Corrections Policy
Bulletin of Education and Language welcomes scholarly discussion and constructive debate following publication. Readers may submit comments, critiques, or concerns regarding published articles by sending a Letter to the Editor to the journal’s official email address (bel@standoutpress.org).
All post-publication correspondence is initially reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief. Where appropriate, the matter may be discussed with the Associate Editor, the corresponding author, and the peer reviewers to ensure a fair, transparent, and thorough evaluation.
Based on the outcome of this review, the journal may take one or more of the following actions:
- Provide a reasoned private response to the author(s);
- Publish an editorial note or clarification;
- Publish a short communication or commentary related to the article;
- Issue a correction or amendment, with or without a public notice;
- In exceptional cases, retract or remove the article.
A formal email outlining the considerations, criteria, and final decision will be sent to the corresponding author and relevant reviewers. When deemed necessary in the interest of transparency and scholarly integrity, the outcome may also be publicly announced on the journal’s website.
